Law Enforcement Officers Weekend Fundraiser [3-2-19]

On the afternoon of Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 “Law Enforcement Officers Weekend” held a fundraiser at The Junction in Long Beach. The organization hosted the event to help raise money to support law enforcement families effected by a line of duty injury or death. The organization gives these families a weekend away in Lake George during the summer. The fundraiser was emceed by Town of Hempstead/retired NYPD Detective Anthony D’Esposito. The Saturday afternoon fundraiser collected nearly $25,000, was made possible by several local sponsors and featured music by the Kerry Kearney Band and New York Shields Pipes and Drums.
