Main Line Train Derailment [9-15-15]

Multiple agencies operated on the scene of a derailed cargo train car on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 15th, 2015. The derailment was located between the Westbury and Hicksville stations in New Cassel. No one was injured in the accident that resulted in railroad delays for two days. The derailed car was carrying construction debris at the time it toppled over. How the incident occurred remained under investigation.
