Central Avenue [8-29-10]

Right around noon on Sunday, August 29th the Baldwin Fire Department was dispatched to a working fire located at 2645 Central Avenue between Clinton Place and Thomas Avenue. Upon arrival, first responding units found two one-car garages fully involved in fire. Lines were put into place from both Thomas and Central Avenues. The fire was knocked down in forty-five minutes, and Freeport was called to the scene for a FAST team. Two people were taken to an area hospital with burns.
