Grand Avenue [4-4-21]

On the morning of Sunday, April 4th, 2021 the Baldwin Fire Department operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with overturn and entrapment on Grand Avenue off St. Luke’s Place. There were two vehicles involved in the accident – one parked at the time of the collision. The driver of the overturned pickup, the only occupant inside, was extricated by members of the Nassau County Police Emergency Services Unit and was not seriously injured. One precautionary handline was stretched off Baldwin Engine 203 while the extrication was underway. All fire department units were under the command of Baldwin Chief of Department Hughes [205].
