Homan Place [1-28-17]

Minutes after seven p.m. on the night of Saturday, January 28th, 2017 the Baldwin Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire at 2778 Homan Place off Church Street. Responding units were advised that multiple calls were being received reporting the fire and upon arrival found smoke showing from a two-story private dwelling. The fire was located at the two, three corner of the house and a hand line was quickly stretched off first due Engine 202 and advanced down the side of the house. Freeport was designated the FAST for the operation and responded with Ladder 218. Within twenty minutes the scene was placed under control [signal twelve transmitted]. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
