Ansbro Place [8-20-12]

On the afternoon of August 20th, 2012 the Bellmore Fire Department responded to a report of a car fire next to the home at 306 Ansbro Place, just off of Marlboro Place. The fire department received the call from Nassau County Police who had received multiple calls reporting the car fire. Upon arrival, the Chief confirmed that he had a working car fire next to a garage. Bellmore Engine 604 arrived first on scene and immediately put a line into place. Within minutes firefighters had the fire knocked down and began to perform overhaul on the vehicle to ensure all pockets of fire were extinguished. Bellmore Engine 603 and Rescue 607 were also on scene to fight the afternoon car fire.
