Beltagh Avenue [6-25-20]

On the morning of Thursday, June 25th, 2020 the Bellmore Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Beltagh Avenue off Madison Avenue. The fire was located along the four side a two-story private dwelling. Merrick was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 6411. North Bellmore was called as an additional working truck company and responded to the scene with Ladder 657. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation and had the fire quickly knocked down. All occupants made it safely out of the home and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Bellmore Assistant Chief Ancona.
