Judith Drive [1-12-20]

On the night of Sunday, January 12th, 2020 firefighters operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] at a home on Judith Drive off Elaine Street in Bellmore. The main body of fire was located around the chimney area on the four side of a two-story private dwelling. North Bellmore was designated the FAST for the operation with Merrick on scene as an additional truck company. Firefighters put one hand line into operation resulting in a quick knockdown of the fire. Wantagh Ladder 6911 and North Merrick Engine 674 stood by for Bellmore during the operation. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all occupants made it safely out of the home.
