Hempstead Turnpike [8-19-18]

In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 19th, 2018 the Bethpage Fire Department and Nassau County Police responded to an overturned tractor trailer. The incident was located on the exit ramp from the southbound Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway [Route 135] to eastbound Hempstead Turnpike [Route 24]. The driver of the truck was the only occupant, was able to self-extricate, and was not seriously injured. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident and the truck was carrying milk when it over turned.
