East Meadow Engine 611 Transition [3-31-18]

On the night of Saturday, March 31st, 2018 members of East Meadow Engine Company No. 1 held a work detail to put their new apparatus, a 2018 Pierce, into service. The new rig, which replaces, it’s 1995 predecessor, features a 700-gallon water tank and 35-gallon foam tank among many other features. Engine 611 is based out of East Meadow Station 1 located at 346 East Meadow Avenue. The best of luck to the officers and members with their new rig!
