Faith Lane [3-31-15]

At 16:12 hours on the afternoon of March 31st, 2015 the East Meadow Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment of two people at 46 Faith Lane off of Friends Lane. When units arrived on scene they found a single vehicle accident in which an auto had gone through the garage of 51 Faith Lane. No occupants were trapped inside the vehicle and two people were evaluated on scene for possible injuries. Prior to striking the garage the vehicle was believed to have backed out of the driveway striking a nearby fence and then accelerated forward into the home. Due to the level of impact to the structure North Bellmore was called to the scene for their technical rescue team. They were quickly on scene and worked to stabilize the compromised areas. All fire department units were under the command of East Meadow Assistant Chief James Kane.
