Foster Lane [3-20-21]
On the evening of Saturday, March 20th, 2021 the East Meadow Fire Department was called to a house fire on Foster Lane off Faith Lane. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with heavy fire showing from the number two side of a two side of a two-story Levitt style house. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid notified. Levittown was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 621. East Meadow Engine 614 was the first engine company to arrive on scene and went on to put multiple hand lines into operation to extinguish the fire. All occupants made it out of the home safely and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of East Meadow Chief of Department James Walsh [6100].
