Greenvale Lane [11-8-19]

Late on the night of Friday, November 8th, 2019 the East Meadow Fire Department was called to smoke in the boiler room at a home on Greenvale Lane off Guild Lane. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with smoke showing from a two-story Levitt style house. Firefighters found fire in the first-floor ceiling and in the knee walls on the second floor. Two hand lines were stretched with at least one hand line put into operation. All fire department units were under the command of East Meadow Chief of Department Becker [6100].
