North Jerusalem Road [8-18-22]

On the night of Thursday, August 18th, 2022, the East Meadow Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on North Jerusalem Road off Bethlynn Court. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with smoke showing from a two-story, split level style private dwelling. Fire was found in the attic of the residence and a signal ten [working fire] was transmitted. North Bellmore was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 658. East Meadow Engine 612 was the first engine company to arrive on scene and put two hand lines into operation. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of East Meadow Chief of Department Cheswick [6100].
