Ashley Drive [10-15-21]

The Elmont Fire Department along with mutual aid units operated on the scene of a working fire in the early morning hours of Friday, October 15th, 2021. The fire was located on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling on Ashley Drive off Margaret Drive. Firefighters stretched and operated two hand lines and had the main body of fire quickly knocked down. Valley Stream, Malverne, and South Floral Park were among the mutual aid departments called to the scene. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
