Elmont Road [1-1-19]

On the night of Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 the Elmont Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] for a shed fire with extension to a fence and second shed. The fire was located on Elmont Road off Sobro Avenue. Elmont Engine 704 was the first engine company to arrive on scene and had one hand line in operation resulting in a quick knockdown of the fire. Floral Park was called for the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 123. The cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Elmont Chief of Department Luckman [7010].
