Stratford Green [8-25-22]
In the early morning hours of Thursday, August 25th, 2022 the Farmingdale Fire Department operated on the scene of a car into a townhome on Stratford Green. The accident took place after a driver failed to navigate a turn from Fulton Street onto Conklin Street. As a result, the vehicle went through a guardrail, a fence, and several trees and shrubs before ending up well inside of the structure. The occupants of the involved townhouse unit were home at the time, were not seriously injured or trapped and were able to self-evacuate. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and was located not long after. A minor technical rescue team matrix was started out from the nearest fire departments but was disregarded after it was determined these resources were not needed. Fire department units were under the command of Farmingdale Chief of Department Buser [9201].
