Fire Chiefs Council of Nassau County Installation [2-23-20]
On Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 the Fire Chiefs Council of Nassau County held their twenty-third annual brunch. This year’s event, held at the Stewart Manor Country Club, had Freeport Ex-Chief Lee Tucholski as the Master of Ceremonies. Fire Chiefs Council Sergeant at Arms Thomas Pellegrino began the ceremony with the salute to the flag followed by Rabbi Mirim Charry who said the opening prayer. The ceremony then consisted of the introduction of [current] officers, the introduction of past presidents, and remarks by current President Thomas McDonough. Father Chris Costigan then concluded the ceremony with a closing prayer.
The officers of the organization for 2020 are:
President Thomas McDonough, 1st Vice President John Tassiello, 2nd Vice President Jean Laurent, Sgt. at Arms Thomas Pellegrino, Treasurer Roy Dahlen, Financial Secretary Anthony Tripp, and Council Secretary Richard Messina.
