Sixth Battalion [8-27-16]

The 2016 Nassau County Sixth Battalion Old Fashioned Tournament was held on Saturday, August 27th, 2016 at the Four Towns Firemen’s Training Center in Merrick. The drill was hosted by the North Merrick Fire Department who is celebrating their 90th anniversary in 2016. From the battalion were teams from Bellmore, East Meadow, Levittown, Merrick/Freeport, North Bellmore, North Merrick, Seaford and Wantagh. The top three overall teams were the Bellmore Ball Breakers, North Bellmore Rinky Dinks, and North Merrick Stump Jumpers. The Merrick/Freeport and Levittown teams placed fourth and fifth respectively.
