Esther Street [8-18-21]

Late on the night of Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on Esther Street off Scherer Boulevard. The fire was in a detached garage alongside a residence. Despite heavy fire in the garage there was no extension to the private dwelling. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Franklin Square and Munson Chief of Department LaBianca [7100].
