First Avenue [9-18-22]

In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 18th, 2022, the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on First Avenue off Fourth Street. Firefighters put one hand line into operation for a fire on the first floor of a one-story private dwelling. The fire was quickly knocked down before it could extend further and its cause is currently under investigation. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and there were no reported injuries. Franklin Square and Munson Chief of Department Joseph Gerrato [7100] had command of the incident.
