Freeport Dive Drill [10-1-11]

On Saturday, October 1st members of the Freeport Dive Squad along with the Wantagh Dive Squad and a few members of Atlantic Beach Rescue conducted a dive and water rescue drill at the foot of Woodcleft Avenue. False swimmers in distress as well as fellow divers were deployed into the water and then rescued by their colleagues to practice for if and when a real emergency comes. News12 was also on hand recording much of the drill to put together a segment on the events that took place.
