East Bedell Street [5-30-15]

At 12:52 hours on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 Freeport Truck Company was notified for a stokes basket to assist Freeport Police at 93 East Bedell Street. Freeport Truck Company was quickly on scene with Tiller 218. Firefighters were informed upon arrival that there was a female aided on a docked boat who needed to be brought up to shore. Working alongside the operator of Nassau County Police Ambulance 2377 first responders stabilized the patient and were able to bring her up quickly and efficiently despite a low tide. All fire department units were under the command of Freeport Chief of Department Thomas Butler [2100].
