East Sunrise and South Columbus [7-1-15]

Around 07:30 hours on the morning of Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 the Freeport Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with overturn and possible entrapment. The location of the accident was East Sunrise Highway and South Columbus Avenue. When units arrived on scene they found a single vehicle accident with confirmed overturn and negative entrapment. The driver of the vehicle was the only occupant and he was evaluated on scene by a Nassau County Police AMT. All fire department units were quickly released from the scene under the command of First Assistant Chief Kenny Vancott [2101].
