William Place [6-20-16]

At 06:52 hours on the morning of Monday, June 20th, 2016 the Freeport Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a car smoking at the intersection of Florence Avenue and William Place. Hose One and Three along with Fire Police were assigned to the call. Freeport First Assistant Chief Matt Colgan was the first to arrive on scene and reported a working car fire at the location. Hose One pulled first due and put the car pack into operation. No injuries were reported and all fire department units were under the command of Freeport First Assistant Chief Colgan [2101].
