South Main Street [5-27-17]

At 03:36 hours on the morning of Saturday, May 27th, 2017 the Freeport Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment in front of 295 South Main Street. When fire department units arrived on scene they were met with a three-vehicle accident with one person confirmed trapped. Members of Freeport Truck Company put the tool to work to free the person. Engine 216 had a hand line stretched for precautionary measures. At least one person was transported to an area hospital. All fire department units were under the command of Freeport Chief of Department Matt Colgan [2100].
