West Sunrise and South Ocean [7-10-17]

At 17:49 hours on the evening of Monday, July 10th, 2017 the Freeport Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of West Sunrise Highway and South Ocean Avenue. As units began responding they were advised by Fire Com that a second call from the scene was reporting possible entrapment and so Freeport Truck Company was added to the assignment. Engine 216 was one of the first units to arrive on scene and reported an overturned auto with no entrapment and one aided. Freeport Ladder 217 and Heavy Rescue 217-2 were also on the scene of the two-car accident that injured one.
