Chadwick Street [12-1-21]

On the night of Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, the Glen Cove Fire Department was called to a building fire on Glen Cove Avenue. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with fire showing from a two-story commercial building on Chadwick Street off Glen Cove Avenue. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid notified. Firefighters put at least two hand lines into operation and had main body of fire quickly knocked down. The cause of the fire, which took place in a building was being used to store and service golf carts, is currently under investigation.
