Baker Hill Road [8-9-22]

The Great Neck Alert Fire Company along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] at the Village of Great Neck village hall on the night of Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. Manhasset Lakeville was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Heavy Rescue 8730. During the operation a second alarm was transported which brought additional resources to the scene and new units to standby for the Great Neck Alerts. Firefighters stretched three hand lines and utilized at least two hand lines. The cause of the fire [which began as a strong thunderstorm passed through the area] is currently under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Great Neck Alerts Chief Purcell.
