Soundview Lane [2-18-23]

In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 18th, 2023, the Great Neck Alert Fire Company operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Soundview Lane off Kings Point Road in Kings Point. Manhasset Lakeville was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Heavy Rescue 8759. Firefighters put at least two hand lines into operation for a fire on the number three side of a two-story private dwelling. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation. The scene was placed under control within forty minutes and Great Neck Alerts Chief John Purcell had command of the incident.
