Williams Procession [11-18-15]
Members of the Greenlawn Fire Department received the unfortunate news on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 that Greenlawn Ex-Captain Harry Williams Jr. had passed away at the young age of forty-eight as the result of a heart attack. Harry was well known in the second division based fire department and was always there for various functions, calls, and any chance to help out. During his time with the Greenlawn Fire Department Harry had over twenty years of service and served in both a lieutenant and captain role. He lived just short distance from the firehouse and left an impact on all those who met him.
On Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 [the day of the funeral] the Greenlawn Fire Department was there for Harry. When the funeral procession passed Greenlawn Fire Department headquarters it passed an arch detail and several firefighters saluting Harry’s final ride. Harry leaves behind a son, his parents, three siblings, nieces, nephews, and his brothers and sisters of the Greenlawn Fire Department.
