Long Beach and Weir [1-26-21]

Late on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 the Hempstead Fire Department operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with fire at the intersection of Long Beach Road and Weir Street. There were two vehicles involved in the collision [one which caught fire], two people injured, a third person who refused medical attention, and negative entrapment. One hand line was put into operation off Hempstead Engine One. All fire department units were under the command of Hempstead Chief of Department Boles [80].
