Perry Street [1-22-21]

On the afternoon of Friday, January 22nd, 2021 the Hempstead Fire Department operated on the scene of a working fire on Perry Street between Front and Crowell Streets. The fire, located on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling, was quickly knocked down using one hand line. Among the departments called for mutual aid was Rockville Centre, Uniondale, and South Hempstead. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Hempstead Chief of Department Kyle Boles [80].
