Linden Avenue [11-11-22]

On the morning of Friday, November 11th, 2022, the Hempstead Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Linden Avenue off Laurel Avenue. As units were on the way they were advised by Fire Alarm Central that the call from a neighbor reporting smoke from the vacant house next to them. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with smoke showing from the structure and upon gaining entry found a small fire on the first floor at the three, four corner. One hand line into operation to extinguish the fire. All fire department units were under the command of Hempstead Chief of Department Sandas [80].
