Hewlett Fleet Dedication [5-20-18]

On Sunday, May 20th, 2018 the Hewlett Fire Department held a dedication ceremony for their recently placed into service Ferarra ladder, three Spartan engines, chief’s vehicle, ambulance, and 9/11 memorial. This event was held alongside Hewlett Fire Headquarters on Franklin Avenue off Broadway. Hewlett Ex-Chief Ruvolo was the day’s master of ceremonies while Deacon Tom Costello provided the benediction, blessing of the monument and apparatus, and the invocation. A handful of local dignitaries had the opportunity to speak as well as the chief of the department and the board of fire commissioners. The best of luck to the Hewlett Fire Department with their recently placed into service apparatus.
