Arcadia Lane [7-16-21]

In the early morning hours of Friday, July 16th, 2021, the Hicksville Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working house fire on Arcadia Lane off Arrow Lane. Upon arrival firefighters were met with fire showing from the attached garage of a two-story Levitt style home. Firefighters went on to stretch two hand lines and put one of them into operation. As a result of the aggressive attack and despite collier’s mansion conditions the fire was contained to the garage area. All occupants as well as several pets made it safely out of the residence. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
