Brooks Street South [10-5-18]

Late on the night of Friday, October 5th, 2018 firefighters operated on the scene of a house fire on Brooks Street South off Brooks Street West in Hicksville. The main body of fire was located on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling. At least one hand line was stretched and put into operation to extinguish the fire. Among the departments called for mutual aid were Bethpage, Levittown, and Plainview. The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no reported injuries.
