Thorman Avenue [1-20-20]

Hicksville firefighters operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] in the early morning hours of Monday, January 20th, 2020. The fire was located around the front door area of a vacant, two-story private dwelling on Thorman Avenue that was undergoing renovations. There was minor extension to the interior of the home on the first floor; however, the main body of fire was quickly knocked down. Among the departments called for mutual aid were Westbury [FAST], Syosset, and Jericho. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
