Water Rescue Presentation [8-11-20]

On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 New York State Assemblywoman Miller and New York State Senator Kaminsky presented citations to the Inwood Fire Department, Long Beach Fire Department, Atlantic Beach Rescue, and lifeguards from the Silver Point and Sun and Surf Beach Clubs. This was for their efforts on July 23rd when a boat overturned in East Rockaway Inlet sending three people into the water. Several departments and agencies came together that day resulting in the successful rescue of the three victims – none of whom sustained life threatening injuries.
