Ossipee Court [5-6-20]

Late on the morning of Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 the Lakeview Fire Department was called to a house fire on Ossipee Court in the dead end off Otsego Road. Responding fire department units were advised by dispatch that multiple calls were being received reporting the fire and that police were on scene with an attached garage fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with smoke showing and fire on the number two side of a two-story private dwelling. After further investigation it was found the fire was contained to the exterior and did not extend to the inside. One hand line was put into operation and the fire was quickly knocked down. Rockville Centre was requested for and responded with one ladder to the scene. All fire department units were under the command of Lakeview Chief of Department James Galia [4100].
