Tyler Road [12-7-19]

On the morning of Saturday, December 7th, 2019 the Lakeview Fire Department was called to a house fire on Tyler Road off Pinebrook Avenue. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with fire showing from a two-story private dwelling. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid notified. Among the departments called for mutual aid was West Hempstead, Rockville Centre, Hempstead, and Malverne. Firefighters battled fire on both floors of the home; however, the fire was quickly knocked down. All occupants made it safely out of the home and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
