Boat Lane [7-5-21]

On the night of Monday, July 5th, 2021, the Levittown Fire Department was called to a house fire on Boat Lane off Carriage Lane. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with an exterior fire at the two-three corner of a two-story Levitt style home. Firefighters put at least one hand line into operation off Levittown Engine 623 and as a result quickly knocked down the fire. Once the truck companies opened up and overhauled it was found that there was no extension to the interior of the residence. After further investigation it was later stated that the cause of the fire was poorly discarded fireworks inside of a garbage can on the side of the home. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
