Center Lane [1-17-19]

In the early morning hours of Thursday, January 17th, 2019 the Levittown Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] at a home on Center Lane off Bluegrass Lane. The fire appeared to have started on the first floor of the home with extension to the second floor. Levittown Engine 623 and Levittown Ladder 621 were the first one and one on scene. Wantagh was designated the FAST and responded with Ladder 6912. The main body of fire was knocked down within fifteen minutes and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Units from Wantagh and East Meadow stood by for Levittown during the operation. All fire department units were under the command of Levittown Chief of Department Hervan [6200].
