East Walnut Street [8-21-15]

Around 07:00 hours on August 21st, 2015 the Long Beach Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire at 52 East Walnut Street. When units arrived on scene they were met with smoke showing from underneath the stucco surrounding the front doorway. Moments later a signal ten was transmitted by Long Beach Chief of Department RJ Tuccillo. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the front vestibule area using one hand line off of Long Beach Engine 2343. Mutual aid was provided by Island Park, Oceanside, and Lawrence-Cedarhurst. All fire department units were under the command of Long Beach Chief of Department RJ Tuccillo [231]. The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
