Lindell Boulevard [6-13-21]

On the morning of Sunday, June 13th, 2021 the Long Beach Fire Department held a training exercise in coordination with the Nassau County Police Aviation Bureau. The drill was held at the Lindell Elementary School. Once Nassau County Police Helicopter 6, one of three in the fleet, landed members of the department were able to approach. The helicopter’s two-man crew [made up of a flight medic and a pilot] went over various items pertaining to the aviation bureau and the best practices for operating with them.
