Lakewood Boulevard [2-27-19]

Lynbrook firefighters operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] at a home on Lakewood Boulevard off Wyoming Avenue on the morning of Wednesday, February 27th, 2019. Lynbrook Engine 421 was the first engine company to arrive on scene and had at least two hand lines in operation put out the fire. Additional mutual aid was called from Rockville Centre, East Rockaway, and Malverne among others. The scene was placed under control within thirty-five minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Lynbrook First Assistant Chief Pearsall [4291].
