Dogwood and Cornwell [1-11-18]

Late on the night of Thursday, January 11th, 2018 the Malverne Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with overturn at the intersection of Dogwood and Cornwell Avenues. When firefighters arrived on scene they were met with a single vehicle accident with overturn. There was no entrapment and the driver [the lone occupant in the vehicle] was not injured. Malverne firefighters remained on scene until the vehicle was up righted and the accident was believed to have been the result of drinking and driving. All fire department units were under the command of Malverne First Assistant Chief Richard Bopp [4301].
