Beach Road [2-6-21]

On the morning of Saturday, February 6th, 2021 the Massapequa Fire Department was called to a garage fire on Beach Road in the dead end off Canal Road. Those first to arrive on scene were met with smoke showing from a detached garage. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted moments later. Seaford was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 683. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation resulting in a quick knockdown of the fire. There were no exposure issues, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Massapequa Chief of Department Batt [6300].
