Clark Boulevard [1-13-19]

On the afternoon of Sunday, January 13th, 2019 the Massapequa Fire Department was called to a house fire on Clark Boulevard off Park Boulevard in the Massapequa Park section of their district. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with heavy smoke showing from a one-story private dwelling. Massapequa First Assistant Chief Batt [6301] transmitted a signal ten [working fire]. Firefighters located heavy fire at the rear of the basement and put at least two hand lines into operation. Seaford was designated the FAST for the operation and responded to the scene with Ladder 683. Massapequa Engine 6315 and Ladder 632 were the first engine and truck companies to arrive on scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
