Merrick Truck Company [8-20-20]

On the night of Thursday, August 20th, 2020 members of Merrick Hook and Ladder Company No. 1 trained with the new Ladder 6412 behind a row of stores on Merrick Avenue. This was also the last night the outgoing 6412, a 1991 Saulsbury Heavy Rescue, was in company quarters. The next morning [Friday, August 21st, 2020] the rig was picked up by its new owners from the Flaherty Volunteer Fire Department in Kentucky. The best of luck to Merrick with their new rig and Flaherty with the old 6412.
